Job Overview

The Supply Chain Assistant plays a crucial role in overseeing purchase orders within the supply chain division, while also managing communications regarding any alterations in delivery schedules or other concerns raised by buyers and requestors. Furthermore, this position encompasses various supportive responsibilities pertinent to the department as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the initiation of supplier accounts and ensure compliance with subcontractor regulations;
  • Monitor adherence to delivery timelines for purchase orders issued by the procurement team and maintain communication with suppliers through tracking reports;
  • Oversee follow-ups on orders designated for "direct delivery" to the project site;
  • Facilitate order extensions as necessary (subcontracting agreements);
  • Compile various tracking and analytical reports to confirm that the procurement process fulfills its obligations;
  • Engage at multiple levels in the preparation of procurement-related documentation;
  • Perform any other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent training;
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is essential;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Familiarity with Maestro software is advantageous.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills with suppliers;
  • Effective organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail;
  • Ability to be adaptable and self-sufficient;
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
