As a Supply Chain Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals and gain valuable experience in a refining environment.

Job Summary: The Supply Chain Management Intern will assist in creating and maintaining Requests for Quotes for MRP replenishment items, supporting Contract Lifecycle Management, and expediting purchases. The successful candidate will also investigate receiving/invoicing discrepancies, analyze and enhance material data, and complete warehouse analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain Requests for Quotes for MRP replenishment items
  • Support Contract Lifecycle Management
  • P-Card process management and reconciliation
  • Expediting purchases
  • Investigate receiving/invoicing discrepancies
  • Analyze and enhance material data
  • Complete warehouse analysis and reporting
  • Support the Procure-to-Pay process for goods and services
  • Identify cost reductions and mitigate risks
  • Support vendor setup and contract closeout processes
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to negotiate contracts

Requirements:

  • Available to begin work on January 6, 2025
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Previous experience is considered an asset
  • Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in SCM or any Business-related field (Commerce, Economics, Finance, etc.)
  • Preference will be given to students in 3rd or 4th year
  • Availability for multiple work terms is preferred
  • Strong academic performance
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semester
