Customer Support Associate

Location: The Royal Conservatory - Toronto, ON
What is the Role?The Customer Support Associate serves as the initial point of contact within our facility, assisting students, faculty, staff, and visitors, particularly regarding access to various spaces. This role requires both independent work and collaboration with internal teams to effectively manage expectations and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding front-line support and assistance to students, faculty, and the public
- Manage and oversee access to practice and teaching areas
- Respond to incoming phone inquiries and emails
- Collaborate with facilities staff to ensure accurate room and equipment arrangements
- Monitor inventory and manage requests for room keys and equipment
- Enter bookings into the online scheduling system and complete assigned administrative duties
- Handle the sale of practice cards, including cash transactions and nightly reconciliations
- Provide assistance in the mailroom as needed, coordinating mail, courier services, and supply requests
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service position, ideally in a dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and ability to work with minimal oversight
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while addressing customer needs effectively.
Competitive hourly wage, currently set at $16.55 per hour
Additional Information- Flexible scheduling for shifts, typically between 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
