Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Inn on the Lake. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Clerical Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Work Experience: Will train.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Word processing software and central reservation system (CRS) experience preferred.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation and valid driver's license required.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgment, organized, reliability, and team player.
This is a permanent, full-time position with 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
