Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TB Food Services Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members, including cooks, food and beverage servers, and kitchen helpers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Service
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, performance, and training.
    • Prepare reports and summaries as required by management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
