As a Security Officer 2, you will be responsible for safeguarding the Company's assets while providing a welcoming experience for guests and team members. This involves protecting against theft, fraud, vandalism, and abuse, while delivering the highest level of service and respect to patrons and colleagues.

Key accountabilities include monitoring and documenting internal and external violations, enforcing restricted access, observing transactions, and performing identification checks. You will also be responsible for conducting regular patrols, escorting guests and team members, and attending to first aid incidents.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education an asset
  • Two (2) years of experience working with the public in a service role or in the service industry
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Previous experience or training in security an asset
  • Occupational First Aid level 2 considered an asset
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Responsible liquor service (SIR)
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • Able to organize data with great accuracy
  • Knowledge of privacy legislation an asset
  • Self-motivator and ability to inspire other team members in enhancing the guest experience within the entertainment business
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures at all times
  • Must be able to work independently, without close direct supervision, and apply good judgment and discretion under pressure
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License


Work Environment Considerations

  • Regular casino environment, standing and walking for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours
