Job Summary

Thompson Rivers University is seeking a qualified sessional faculty member to teach sections of ECED 1300: Practicum 2 – Program Planning for Young Children in a remote location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans for early childhood education courses
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students in child care programs
  • Integrate Indigenous knowledge and teaching methods into course content

Qualifications

  • Teaching excellence and culturally appropriate curriculum development
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Master of Education or equivalent in a relevant field preferred
  • Teaching experience in post-secondary institutions preferred
