Job Summary

Thompson Rivers University is seeking a qualified sessional faculty member to teach mathematics courses, specifically MATH 0400 and MATH 0550. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing learning materials and delivering lectures to students in a multi-level class.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver instructional content for MATH 0400 and MATH 0550, including lesson plans and assessments.
  • Teach lectures and provide guidance to students in a classroom setting.
  • Prepare and administer exams and assessments to evaluate student learning.
  • Provide feedback to students on their performance and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as mathematics or education.
  • Teaching experience, preferably in a post-secondary setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse student populations.
