Position Overview: Print Press Operator
  • Employment Type: Permanent

  • Working Hours: 36 to 48 hours weekly
  • Required Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Required Experience: Previous experience is an asset
Role Responsibilities:
  • Install plates or cylinders and perform necessary adjustments
  • Fill ink reservoirs and manage color and viscosity levels
  • Prepare the press and operate at a reduced speed to verify samples
  • Oversee regular press operations for quality control using a computer control console
  • Remove and clean plates and cylinders after press operations
  • Report any operational issues to the supervisor
  • Carry out additional laboring and basic tasks as required
  • Monitor machinery during operation
  • Make necessary adjustments to equipment
  • Feed and unload processing machinery
  • Assist skilled tradespeople as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area
