Executive Director of Operations

DSONS TRANSPORT LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our trucking company. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the establishment of major departments and senior staff positions, coordinating the work of regions, divisions, or departments, and establishing objectives for the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
- Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
- Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
- Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions
- Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff and delegate the necessary authority
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal awareness and team player
- Willing to travel regularly
- Fast-paced environment
- Work under pressure
- Tight deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Permanent position
- 35 hours per week
- English language
