  • Operational Oversight
    • Authorize and organize the establishment of major transportation departments and associated senior staff positions
    • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure effective transportation operations
    • Establish objectives for the transportation organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Representation and Communication
    • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions related to transportation
    • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
  • Supervision and Team Management
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 people
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word
  • Transportation/Travel Information
    • Willing to travel regularly for business purposes

Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
