About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our transportation operations at DSONS TRANSPORT LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our transportation department, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
    • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
    • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Representation and Negotiation
    • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  • Staffing and Development
    • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
  • Supervision and Oversight
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 people
  • Technical and Operational Knowledge
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word
  • Travel and Transportation
    • Willing to travel regularly
