Position Overview

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies for supply support within the LVM Program, ensuring alignment with performance and reporting standards.
  2. Manage supply support activities, events, and deliverables while coordinating with key interdependencies.
  3. Engage with suppliers and internal departments to meet performance-based agreement objectives.
  4. Oversee submissions of Operational Reports, Service Bulletins, and Service Directives, providing support for issue resolution as necessary.
  5. Collaborate with Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation teams to meet LVM Identification and Shipping Data requirements.
  6. Assist in the creation of performance metrics for the program.
  7. Maintain regular communication with Canadian government representatives to ensure a clear understanding of their requirements.
  8. Address inquiries from the Canadian Government regarding Repair & Overhaul, Spares Quoting, and Spares Delivery, including support for customer working group meetings.
  9. Work closely with subcontractors to ensure supply support programs comply with contract requirements.
  10. Coordinate with Integrated Logistics Support teams to update schedules and resolve daily operational issues.
  11. Facilitate the ECP process for LVM and subcontractors, ensuring proper implementation of changes.
  12. Support project execution regarding scope, budget, and timeline, utilizing Earned Value Management techniques and departmental guidelines.
  13. Participate in the investigation and analysis of project-related issues, recommending corrective actions as needed.
  14. Attend relevant meetings with customers and subcontractors, such as Technical Review Meetings and Logistics Demonstrations.
  15. Manage incoming correspondence from customers regarding Supply Support impacts.
  16. Provide strategic recommendations to leadership for project execution.
  17. Foster proactive communication across teams and departments.
  18. Engage in cross-team Continuous Improvement initiatives, process evaluations, and development efforts.
  19. Lead and support quality investigations and corrective actions in collaboration with quality assurance teams.

Essential Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in a technical or related field.
  2. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  3. Familiarity with Earned Value Management principles.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  5. Experience in addressing customer supply support needs.
  6. Willingness to travel (10% within Canada and 10% internationally) and ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport.

Desirable Qualifications

  1. Knowledge of the A-LM / AG-001 and Supply Administration Manual (SAM).
  2. Understanding of GDLS-C and Government of Canada parts provisioning processes.
  3. Familiarity with the Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS).
