IT Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team at BDT Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions.
About the Role: As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for users experiencing difficulties with computer systems. You will research and implement solutions using technical manuals and other documents, provide advice and training to users, and collect and maintain a problems and solutions log.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues
- Consult technical manuals and other resources to research and implement solutions
- Provide advice and training to users on software and hardware applications
- Maintain accurate records of problems and solutions
- Participate in the redesign of applications and software
- Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate from a 1-year to 2-year program in a related field
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and technology
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
Location: On-site work required; no remote work option available
Work Setting: Private sector company
Credentials: CompTIA Security+, Network+, A+ certifications preferred
