About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at Service Nova Scotia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our individual and business customers, completing transactions, and processing documents with accuracy and efficiency.

Primary Accountabilities

Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will scrutinize records, process documents, and apply relevant legislation and policy. You will also issue primary identity documents, maintain security and control of public funds, and issue and secure control of serial numbered and non-serial numbered inventory. In addition, you will interact with the general public, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues in a diplomatic and professional manner.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma and a minimum of four years of experience in a fast-paced, frontline customer service environment. You must also possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additionally, you must have experience in balancing accounts, excellent judgment, and strong data entry and computer skills.

Working Conditions

This is a term part-time (40%) employment opportunity with an anticipated end date of November 28, 2025. Travel may be required for training and work purposes, and travel expenses will be reimbursed by the employer.
