Culinary Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Operations Supervisor to oversee our kitchen staff and ensure the highest standards of food preparation and service.

- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Setting: Food service establishment, Restaurant
- Budget Management: $500,001 - $1,500,000
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
- Train personnel on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Estimate necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Prepare and submit operational reports.
- Possess knowledge of the culinary styles offered by the establishment.
- Establish work schedules and manage kitchen operations efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee product and service costing.
- Conduct performance evaluations for kitchen staff.
- Negotiate with suppliers for food and other necessary supplies.
- Organize and maintain kitchen inventory.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily kitchen operations.
- Responsible for supervising a team of 11-15 individuals.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Focus on Kitchen Management.
- Fast-paced environment with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Standing for extended periods and handling physically demanding tasks.
- Attention to detail with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Strong client focus and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

- Accurate in task execution.
- Minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
