Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Hercules SLR. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our overhead cranes and hoists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Equipment Repair: Diagnose and repair equipment problems, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical assistance to customers, including repair and safety recommendations.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inventory management and equipment history.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement efficient work methods and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience as an Overhead Crane Technician or in a related field is an asset.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of electricity and hydraulics, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and effective communication skills.
  • Other: Legally entitled to work in Canada, and a driver's abstract will be required.
