Heavy Duty Equipment Field Service TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Field Service Technician to join our Distribution Business in Mount Pearl NL. This is a hybrid role offering diverse opportunities for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:- Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on generators or components at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing their needs in a courteous and professional manner.
- Utilize specialized tools and documented procedures to diagnose and complete basic repairs, ensuring proper preparation of parts and tools.
- Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians or Supervisors for resolution.
- Conduct preventative maintenance activities on power generation products in the field, adhering to established schedules and standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims, using both handwritten forms and business system input screens.
- Participate in training programs aligned with skill development and business requirements.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper operation of service vehicles and tools.
- Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.
We are seeking a qualified individual with the following experience and skills:
- Intermediate level of workshop-related experience is required.
- Some commercial inspection experience is preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products is essential.
- High Voltage/Low Voltage experience is a must.
