Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Northern Motor Inn. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are equipped to provide excellent service.
Inventory ManagementEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
Scheduling and PlanningEstablish work schedules, and plan and coordinate food service operations to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role is required.
Work SettingHotel, motel, resort experience is preferred.
Personal SuitabilityExcellent interpersonal skills, efficient communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
