Food Service Team Member

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Service Helper to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Terrace. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of our dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Food and Beverage Service: Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables. Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs. Place dishes in storage areas. Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, team player, dependability.
- Training and Development: Will train.
- Support for Diversity and Inclusion: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
