Position Overview

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in achieving and surpassing established service standards while championing product promotion and managing route objectives. Through exemplary execution, you will drive volume goals, enhance market presence, strengthen brand equity, and expand brand distribution within your designated area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee territory management to guarantee outstanding execution.
  • Strategically plan on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, aligning with quota and distribution goals.
  • Sustain and expand current volume and distribution by cultivating trustworthy, long-term relationships with both ON and OFF Premise accounts.
  • Administer the allocated budget as necessary.
  • Facilitate product tasting and educational sessions.
  • Implement sales calls utilizing the company's Structured Call approach.
  • Monitor competitive activities within the territory and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify, assess, and qualify new accounts to evaluate compatibility with the brand portfolio.
  • Deliver product and brand marketing insights through sales tools and staff training workshops.
  • Collaborate with supplier representatives and management in the field to boost sales.
  • Enhance the marketability of our products through effective shelf management, display strategies, concept selling, and pricing management.
  • Ensure brand distribution in key purchasing areas of accounts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills: verbal, listening, and written.
  • Proven judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Solid understanding of the sales and marketing of wine and spirits.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical competencies.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Liquor Board Regulations, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor as required.
