Centurion Alarm & Lock NB Inc is seeking a skilled Cable Installation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in various locations, including urban and rural areas. You will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required
  • Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment
  • Work under the direction of experienced tradespersons and supervisors
  • Perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as telecommunications or installation and maintenance
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
