Key Responsibilities
  • HR Operations
    • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
    • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Staff Management
    • Direct and control daily operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
    • Direct staff to achieve organizational objectives and goals.
    • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Policy Development
    • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
    • Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Employee Support
    • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
    • Establish and implement policies and procedures to support employee well-being and development.
  • Recruitment and Hiring
    • Manage contracts and agreements related to employee recruitment and hiring.
    • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to ensure fair and consistent evaluation.
  • Employee Benefits
    • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices to recommend changes and improvements.
    • Oversee the development of communication strategies to promote employee engagement and well-being.
  • Senior Management Support
    • Advise senior management on HR-related matters and provide strategic guidance on HR initiatives.
