About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Ram Plastics Inc. as a key member of our HR department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement HR Policies

Design, develop, and implement comprehensive human resources policies and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Provide HR Guidance and Support

Offer expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.

Mediate Labour Disputes

Act as a neutral third-party mediator to resolve labour disputes and grievances in a fair and timely manner.

Research and Analyze HR Data

Conduct research and analysis on occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Administer HR Programs

Oversee the administration of benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to ensure seamless execution.

Coordinate Employee Performance

Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to promote employee growth and development.

Research and Recommend HR Initiatives

Research employee benefits, health and safety practices, and recommend changes to improve the overall employee experience.

Supervise and Train Staff

Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure the effective execution of HR programs and policies.

Negotiate Collective Agreements

Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers to ensure fair and equitable outcomes.

Requirements
  • Education

College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a human resources role.

Language

Fluency in English.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.

Personal Suitability

Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, team player, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and values and ethics.
