Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Lead to join our team at our Latimer Village location. As the leader of our front-of-house operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of restaurant staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, customer service interactions, and order fulfillment.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of coffee culture and menu offerings, providing knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage ordering processes, and control food and labor costs effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting open communication and teamwork.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in a managerial role within a high-volume restaurant or cafe setting.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, customer service protocols, and inventory management.
- Passionate about coffee and food service, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
- Proficiency in using computer-based software programs and POS systems.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Serving It Right certification.
