Job Title: Executive Chef - Ethnic Cuisine Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Grand Empire Banquet & Convention Centre Ltd. as an Ethnic Cuisine Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, physically demanding tasks, and overtime required. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have time management skills.
