Position Overview

This role is designed for a highly skilled Automotive Solutions Engineer who will spearhead our innovative projects in the automotive sector. This position is remote, but candidates must reside in Toronto, Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical integration of TuneIn's audio streaming platform within automotive environments, ensuring seamless partnerships that drive strategic growth.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of TuneIn's integration tools, systems, and architecture to effectively manage and enhance our automotive partnerships.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by streamlining the delivery of new audio experiences, focusing on quality and efficiency.
  • Influence product strategy and coordinate the execution of TuneIn's distribution roadmap.
  • Manage and cultivate technical relationships with key automotive partners, ensuring successful deployment of integrations.
  • Act as a primary contact for technical support, maintaining clear communication with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactively identify and resolve complex technical issues, utilizing your expertise in TuneIn's systems and APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Development and Product Management, to align on new partnership opportunities.
  • Stay informed about the evolving automotive media landscape to identify potential partners and integration needs.
  • Drive innovation by identifying risks and opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years in a technical role, with at least 5 years in solutions architecture within media technology and automotive sectors.
  • Proven experience in designing and launching integrations between diverse systems, particularly in mobile and automotive platforms.
  • Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, and integration tools relevant to mobile and automotive development.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to conduct thorough investigations of technical issues.
  • Proficiency in SQL and strong analytical skills to diagnose and address technical challenges.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management.
  • Deep understanding of automotive entertainment systems and audio streaming technologies.
