Engineering Director, Harris Geospatial Solutions

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Engineering Management to lead our Undersea Systems division. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering technical scope, cost, and schedule performance for all engineering content within the division.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic technical leadership and implementation of objectives and initiatives based on long-term product and profitability goals.
- Supply and maintain adequate resources working with engineering functional leads in the pursuit of the division's strategic goals and operational plans.
- Oversee the overall organizational health of the engineering workforce and lead the recruitment, retention, and development of top talent.
- Lead a cross-functional engineering team to cultivate innovative product solutions, advance critical technology enablers, and execute product development projects that serve the Government/DoD and International markets.
- Ensure technical scope, cost, and schedule execution of the Engineering content of programs.
- Manage multiple customer requirements (cost, schedule, technical capabilities) while using analytical and strategic skills to guide the engineering team to successful program deliveries of customer needs.
- Work collaboratively across organizational boundaries and ensure programs are smoothly transitioned to production and deployment phases.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering; A Master's degree in Engineering or a Master's of Business Administration is highly desired.
- 15 years of applicable experience in a product development role; DoD experience a must, with 10 years experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading large engineering organizations that are geographically diverse.
- Must hold an active Secret level Security Clearance; a Top Secret/SCI is preferred; and maintain this clearance which requires US Citizenship.
