NXP Semiconductors is seeking a highly motivated Senior Automotive Applications Engineer to join our team in the Americas region.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled engineer to support Mass Market/Distribution customers in the Americas region. As a Senior Automotive Applications Engineer, you will be a key technical interface between our global R&D organization and our Distributor partners and end customers to enable the successful design-in of NXP's products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to key customers in the Americas region, including hardware, software, and development tool documentation.
  • Develop and deliver technical training to NXP Field Applications Engineers (FAEs), Distributor FAEs, and end customers on new Automotive processors and their associated software and tools.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Systems, and Design teams to provide feedback on the success of NXP products in the mass market and recommend improvements to hardware, software, and collateral.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Experience of embedded application software development (>=2 years).
  • Experience of embedded C language programming.
  • Advanced English and Spanish communication skills (verbal & written).
