About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Specialist to join our team at Co-operators. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our commercial portfolio through proactive sales and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to promote our commercial insurance products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and commercial inspections to identify potential risks and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business plans and strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in commercial insurance sales and business development.
  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline.
  • General insurance license.
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) or Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) designation.
