About the Role:

The Autism Services Coordinator is responsible for leading the provision of supports and services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. This role requires strong leadership and resource management skills to ensure quality outcomes and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Manage resources effectively to meet the needs of individuals and families.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the management team to provide training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and service contracts for residential and community sites.
  • Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of residential and community sites.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, partner agencies, and the community.
  • Provide support through evidence-based treatment models and approaches for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Attend community planning tables and external committees.
  • Support the scheduling of services and supports for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.
  • Ensure the health and safety of supported individuals in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the management team to ensure professional and thorough records are maintained and up to date for all individuals being served.
Requirements:
  • University degree or college diploma.
  • 3 years of experience in human services.
  • Strong knowledge of the Developmental Services sector.
  • Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and evidence-based treatment models and approaches.
  • Competency and effective use of database and Microsoft Office systems.
  • Working knowledge of related legislation and regulations.
  • Knowledge of scheduling of employees is an asset.
  • French language is an asset.
Working Conditions:
  • Must have the ability to complete the Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification.
  • Position requires flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Provide on-call coverage (which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays).
  • A personal vehicle is required for frequent business travel, as well as a valid G2 license, and proof third-party liability insurance coverage.
