Position Overview:
The Autism Consultant plays a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. This position involves providing essential support and guidance to individuals, families, and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive support services to individuals with ASD, their families, and community groups.
- Facilitate community capacity building to empower families and communities in understanding and assisting individuals with ASD.
- Engage in direct support activities, including one-on-one teaching sessions, group workshops, and the development of tailored teaching strategies across various environments.

Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with various agencies and community organizations to provide coordinated support.
- Liaise professionally with families and community partners to ensure effective communication and support.

Qualifications:
- A degree in Human or Social Services with a minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with ASD in community settings.
- Strong knowledge of community resources and the principles of supporting individuals within their family and community.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.

Working Conditions:
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for travel purposes.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training is essential.
