Team Insights

The Labor Planning & Optimization team delivers a comprehensive perspective on lululemon's Distribution Centre workforce. We collaborate closely with our Distribution Centres and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal staffing levels are achieved at all times.

Daily Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Labor Planning Analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting our East Coast Distribution Centres by:

  • Collaborating with Distribution Centre Managers to formulate and execute daily staffing strategies.
  • Aligning operational demands with workforce capabilities to identify flexible labor solutions.
  • Creating daily and weekly reporting dashboards for interdepartmental review.
  • Evaluating trends in operational performance metrics and pinpointing root causes, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Additionally, you will play a key role in enhancing labor efficiency across the network by:

  • Designing, executing, and monitoring Distribution Centre optimization initiatives.
  • Engaging with on-site Distribution Centre personnel to enhance the workday experience.
  • Assisting in the development of a Labor Management Portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in staffing or operational planning within a dynamic business environment.
  • Experience in the Retail or Distribution sector is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.

Additional Information

Authorization to work in Canada is a prerequisite for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

lululemon's compensation structure is based on a pay-for-performance model. The typical salary range for this role is $81,500-107,000 annually; the base salary offered will depend on market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.

Work Arrangement

This position is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration is essential, and much of the work can be conducted remotely. On-site presence is required at least 3 days per week.
