Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the store team, responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store. This includes developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and ensuring maximum sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
- Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service
- Control expenses and shrinkage to ensure maximum profitability
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the store's operations and customer needs
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and goals
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement: 18
- Prior retail and management experience required
- Ability to work in excess of 8 hours standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds
