About the Role

The Director of People and Culture Business Partners will lead a team of 15-20 professionals in providing strategic and hands-on support to leadership and associate populations within HelloFresh's Distribution Centers, Production, Logistics Hubs, and Corporate locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set the vision, direction, and culture of the People team by managing individual and team performance expectations and goals.
  • Foster and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement People strategies and programs to support operational and strategic business needs on a national level.
  • Build strategic relationships with business partners by building trust and influencing business decisions.
  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in business objectives.
  • Deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a high volume workload.
  • Drive and direct all employee engagement efforts for senior leaders, front-line managers, and associates.
  • Continuously innovate People solutions and process improvements.
  • Lead projects at a national level and drive execution and achievement of key results.
  • Ensure legislative compliance across Canada.
Requirements
  • A combination of 7+ years in human resources management with at least 5+ years of experience leading teams.
  • 3+ years' experience in one or more of the following industries: shipping/logistics distribution centers, warehousing, manufacturing environments, retail, and customer-facing/customer-service environments.
  • Experience supporting hourly, front-line employee populations of 500+.
  • Experience in workforce planning/flex staffing, project management, and continuous or process improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience leading change management initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety, employment, and human rights legislation in AB, BC, and ON.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent coaching and conflict resolution skills.
  • Sound judgement and fair, ethical conduct with respect to employee relations.
