Role Overview: Account Executive - Commercial Insurance

In the capacity of an Account Executive at Western Coast Insurance Services, you will leverage your insurance knowledge to identify and onboard new clients, ensuring they receive the appropriate coverage tailored to their needs. This position offers flexibility with remote or hybrid work options, along with comprehensive training and licensing support.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Engage in prospecting and upselling across various insurance products.
  • Generate high-quality new business through networking and establishing influential connections to maintain a steady flow of referrals.
  • Foster client retention by cultivating strong relationships and offering insightful advice to clients for sustainable growth.
  • Utilize multiple online platforms of insurance partners to facilitate customer applications.
  • Achieve and surpass sales and retention objectives.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to ensure compliance with evolving insurance guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and external insurance partners to ensure equitable representation for all parties.
  • Commit to ongoing personal development through industry engagement and relevant training courses.

Qualifications and Skills

  • General Insurance Level 2 certification is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in Commercial Insurance is advantageous.
  • A genuine desire to assist clients in safeguarding their most valuable assets.
  • A self-driven and entrepreneurial approach with potential for significant earnings through a combination of fixed and variable compensation.
  • Proven track record as a results-oriented Sales Representative with exceptional interpersonal skills to actively engage and attract clients.
  • Proficient in professional communication, whether in person, via phone, or through email.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt to challenges effectively.

Employment Details

This is a full-time position, requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
