Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new business and expand existing relationships with commercial insurance clients.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on their insurance needs, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to ensure clients receive the best possible advice and service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and marketing, to deliver seamless customer experiences and drive business results.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue growth goals, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
  • Level 2 Insurance Agent designation required.
  • CIP or CAIB designation or equivalent preferred.
  • 3-7 years of experience in a sales executive role, preferably in a commercial insurance environment.
  • Proven track record of sales success, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business or finance.
  • Experience working in a team environment, with a focus on customer sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge of Acturis, Microsoft Office Suite, or comparable computer systems.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, including insurance courses and certifications.
