Position Overview:

The Calgary Rural Allied Health team is seeking a dedicated individual to provide essential administrative support. This role operates under the guidance of the Rural Allied Health manager and plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient operation of ambulatory clinics and community services. The Administrative Support III position requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to manage various programs while assisting multiple healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Organizing and scheduling client appointments for both adult and pediatric Allied Health programs.
  2. Managing and prioritizing ambulatory appointments and community referral activities.
  3. Performing general reception duties for clients attending appointments.
  4. Creating and managing files, as well as ordering necessary supplies and equipment.

The Administrative team serves multiple rural sites and supports both adult and pediatric programs, ensuring comprehensive care delivery.

Role Requirements:

As an Administrative Support III, candidates must possess advanced administrative skills and specialized knowledge to assist with complex procedures and initiatives within the department.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent education is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

A certificate or diploma in an administrative healthcare program or a similar field is preferred. Previous experience with scheduling systems such as Millennium and Soprano is also advantageous.
