About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at 2382935 Alberta Ltd. as an Administrative Coordinator. This is a permanent position with a 32 to 40 hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events to support the company's goals.
  • Financial Management: Plan and control budgets and expenditures to ensure efficient use of company resources.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures to maintain a smooth office environment.
  • Meeting Support: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Office Operations: Determine and establish office procedures and routines to optimize productivity.
  • Recruitment: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure timely meetings.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills.
  • Customer Service: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to provide excellent customer service.
  • Data Analysis: Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform business decisions.
  • Communication: Oversee the development of communication strategies to maintain a strong company image.
  • Reporting: Compile data, statistics, and other information to provide insights to senior management.
  • Advice and Support: Advise senior management on administrative matters to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Employee Support: Respond to employee questions and complaints to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory to ensure a well-stocked office.
  • Reception: Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas to provide a warm welcome.
  • Project Management: Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to maintain a smooth office environment.
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in an administrative role.
  • Permanent employment with 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
