Job Title: Patient Care Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Ephraim Stat Care. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, including weighing, lifting, turning, and positioning patients.
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Transport patients between care facilities and provide support during transfers.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations to provide immediate care and support.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
