Patient Care Specialist

About the Role:
Ephraim Stat Care is seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
- Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
- Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, including weighing, lifting, turning, and positioning patients.
- Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments to facilitate seamless communication and workflow.
- Transport patients between care facilities and provide support with personal care tasks.
- Administer first aid in emergency situations to ensure prompt and effective response.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
- Criminal record check.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Standing for extended periods and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
- Ability to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
