Xello is seeking a Sales Development Specialist

What you'll be responsible for...

  • Enhancing sales and fostering long-term business development by generating a new sales pipeline through direct outreach (via phone and email) utilizing our prospect database and your own research efforts.
  • Assessing leads according to established guidelines and criteria within a CRM (Salesforce).
  • Engaging with leads through consistent follow-up communications.
  • Organizing and prioritizing the lead pipeline daily to maximize efficiency.
  • Conducting outbound sales calls to identify new school district clients.
  • Ensuring all sales activities are meticulously documented and tracked in Salesforce.
  • Participating actively in weekly, monthly, and annual sales and territory team meetings.

What we are looking for...

  • 1-2 years of experience in lead generation and/or triaging.
  • Prior experience in prospecting and collaborating with an inside sales team.
  • A collaborative team member who is open to personal and professional growth.
  • The confidence and ability to cold call and engage in meaningful conversations.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management capabilities.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, with a proven track record of success.
  • Resilient, with a positive attitude and an unwavering determination to succeed.
