Sales Development Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Development Specialist to play a vital role in our expanding Sales division. The Sales Development Specialists are instrumental at Recharge by pinpointing and qualifying a substantial volume of high-quality leads while articulating Recharge's unique value proposition to potential merchants during the early stages of the sales journey.
Your focus will be on generating leads, scheduling demonstrations, and preparing for successful sales closures through effective prospecting, thorough research, and qualification of potential clients. Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to sales growth by acquiring new customers and identifying under-utilized opportunities.
- Identify and engage with emerging merchants while participating in discovery calls to understand their objectives.
- Utilize various outreach methods including cold calls, emails, video communications, and social selling to connect and arrange meetings with prospective merchants.
- Effectively communicate Recharge's value and technical capabilities to potential merchants during the initial sales phase.
- Transition interested merchants to the Sales team using a customer-centric approach.
- Independently manage a diverse pipeline of prospects, leveraging Salesforce to track progress and simultaneously advance these accounts.
- Gain valuable experience collaborating closely with our sales, marketing, and partnership teams.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Recharge, ensuring a positive first impression with our merchants.
- Develop effective selling skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Qualifications
- Proven inside sales experience in a technology-focused, consultative sales environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently in a dynamic setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- High energy and a positive demeanor, even in the face of challenges.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and similar tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the eCommerce sector is a plus.
