Job Summary

The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and organized Program Administrator to provide specialized program support to the Program Director and the department relating to postgraduate medical education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Program Director and the department, including coordination of curriculum development, scheduling, and tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, collective agreements, and university policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement workflow strategies to ensure efficient delivery of program support services.
  • Coordinate and host resident orientations, academic events, and examinations.
  • Assist with coordination of research activities and dissemination of information to program applicants.
  • Monitor, tabulate, and report on resident vacation, sick, and time away from the program.
  • Ensure timely dissemination, collection, and follow-up of resident assessments.
  • Develop and generate necessary documents and participate in the accreditation process.
  • Provide administrative support for the Program Administrative Assistant meetings and mentorship program.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Grade 12 and a recognized post-secondary business administration/administrative assistant program.
  • Three to five years of related experience in administration, preferably in a diverse environment.
  • Knowledge of Royal College Residency Training Programs, accreditation processes, collective agreements, and experience with One45, Elentra, and CONCUR software.
