Regional Manager, Business Intelligence

Northern Health is seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as a Regional Manager, Analytics and Reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in data management, analysis, and interpretation to drive business decisions and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of analysts and data specialists to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet organizational information needs.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive analytics and reporting strategy that aligns with Northern Health's vision, mission, and strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Manage and maintain a high-quality, enterprise-wide data asset management system.
- Develop and implement data governance practices that ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data management, analysis, and interpretation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum seven (7) years of recent, related leadership and management experience, working within a complex environment, preferably in healthcare.
- Experience with data management, including linkage, analysis, interpretation, and data systems.
- Knowledge of data governance practices and business and technology issues related to enterprise data asset management.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience with project leadership and/or PMP certification is an asset.
- Demonstrated successful leadership and management skills.
- Ability to foster effective working relationships, both internal and external at all levels.
- Ability to lead change and manage conflict.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and to make presentations to groups.
- Ability to utilize a customer service approach to staff and clients.
- Ability to anticipate and respond to changing priorities or unforeseen opportunities.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of information management, business processes, technologies, and applications.
- Knowledge in data governance practices and business and technology issues related to enterprise data asset management.
- Ability to problem-solve complex issues towards creative solutions.
- Ability to set and maintain priorities, work under pressure and be results-oriented.
- Ability to supervise staff.
- Diplomatic negotiation skills and the ability to influence.
- Understanding of and the ability to manage the political climate of the organization.
- Demonstrated knowledge of related technical architecture and ability to translate business need into application architecture requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the project management process and the systems development life cycle.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability and willingness to travel within Northern Health's geographic region.
