Executive Pastry Chef

The Ridge Hotel & Suites is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for creating exquisite pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats that exceed our guests' expectations.
Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal kitchen operations.
- Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment training for our cooking staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Train and supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality food production.
- Prepare and cook meals and specialty foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked and efficient kitchen environment.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences for weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure a safe and healthy dining experience for our guests.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 35 hours per week.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
