Position Overview

The C-Store Technical Support Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting our customers by addressing various software-related issues remotely. The ideal candidate should possess a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently while ensuring outstanding customer service. Please be aware that this role includes regular on-call shifts and a rotation for weekend work.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver exceptional customer service with a professional phone demeanor.
  2. Quickly identify and resolve issues.
  3. Support a range of software applications.
  4. Conduct thorough follow-ups with customers.
  5. Troubleshoot diverse systems via remote desktop tools.
  6. Ensure quality assurance through hardware staging processes.
  7. Engage in sales-related activities as required.
  8. Provide training on POS software both remotely and on-site when necessary.
Required Qualifications
  1. At least 2 years of experience in customer service.
  2. A minimum of 2 years in technical support roles.
  3. Familiarity with networking and mobile technology.
  4. Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
  5. Ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgment.
  6. Quick learner with the capacity to grasp proprietary POS software systems.
  7. Proficient in working both independently and collaboratively.
  8. Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
  9. Knowledge of POS hardware such as scanners, scales, receipt printers, and EFT devices is advantageous.
  10. A background in supporting payment devices is beneficial.
  11. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent education is preferred.
  12. Experience with Windows OS and SQL certification is a plus.

The selected candidate will be required to undergo a background check prior to starting employment.
