Position Overview

The role of a User Support Technician at Punjab Wireless Ltd. involves assisting clients who encounter challenges with their computer systems. This position is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and enhancing user experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

The work setting is primarily within a computer hardware or software retail or wholesale environment, providing a dynamic atmosphere for technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist users facing technical difficulties with their computers.
  • Research and implement solutions by consulting user manuals, technical documents, and guides.
  • Offer training and advice to users based on identified challenges.
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions for reference by other support analysts.
  • Oversee a small team of technical support personnel.
  • Deliver support for business systems, networks, and internet issues as they arise.
  • Facilitate the setup of equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and necessary software.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervision of 3-4 technical support staff members is expected.

Work Hours

This position requires a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week.
