GENERAL FUNCTION
The Retail Consultant will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, fostering strong client relationships, and meeting sales objectives. As a key team member, you will be expected to have comprehensive knowledge of our product offerings, including the latest styles and trends, to provide tailored recommendations to our clientele.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients, ensuring their needs are met and their shopping experience is unforgettable.
- Remain informed about industry trends and product knowledge, participating in training sessions and workshops as necessary.
- Exhibit thorough understanding of the brand, including warranties and optical features available to customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are addressed both in-store and through follow-up communications.
- Consistently achieve and surpass daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals through effective upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Assist with minor adjustments and repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment in both sales and back-of-house areas.
- Provide omnichannel support to ensure a seamless customer service experience across all platforms.
- Understand and comply with all brand policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the eyewear or luxury retail sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate strong client relationships.
- Dependable and punctual; reliability is essential.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.
- A collaborative team player who is adaptable, supportive, respectful, and open to feedback.
- A natural problem-solver and analytical thinker, capable of identifying issues, evaluating solutions, and implementing effective strategies to overcome challenges.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with POS systems.
- Background in luxury sales or the eyewear industry.
Compensation is determined by various factors, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage laws. Additionally, a competitive bonus and/or commission plan may be offered, complementing a comprehensive total rewards package.
