The Lead Business Systems Consultant is tasked with conducting analysis, design, implementation, modification, and ongoing functional support of all applications across our various business lines. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of applications, providing strategic guidance, addressing production issues, and advocating for efficiency and continuous improvement as we modernize our systems.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across all business functions to align technological solutions with strategic objectives
  • Collect requirements from business units and translate them into actionable insights for programmers and developers
  • Prepare cost-benefit analyses and return-on-investment assessments to support decisions regarding system implementations
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of business functions to troubleshoot issues and seize improvement opportunities
  • Support one or more highly intricate business processes
  • Participate in multiple projects as a member of the project team
  • Act as a liaison between the business community and the IT department to deliver technical solutions that meet user needs
  • Facilitate communication between users and developers to resolve production issues
  • Conduct health checks post-release to verify that functionalities have been deployed correctly

Do you possess the skills that will enable you to excel in this role? We would be eager to work with you if you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
  • An MBA or another relevant advanced degree is preferred
  • Over 10 years of experience is required
  • The ability to develop business solutions that enhance competitive advantage
  • Strong judgment in selecting methods and techniques for problem-solving
  • Project management capabilities to manage diverse projects, often simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in resolving technical issues/processes and understanding complex details
  • A talent for enhancing operational efficiency through high-quality technical solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to engage with individuals at various levels of technical knowledge
  • The capacity to analyze complex situations and problems, conducting necessary research using multiple information sources to arrive at innovative solutions
